Peanut Butter Dog Biscuits

Yes they really are for the dogs!

• 1/2 cup of self rising flour
• 1/4 cup oatmeal
• 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
• 1 heaping Tablespoon of honey
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 Tablespoons shortening

Preheat the over to 350 degrees. Combine the flour and oats first, mixing well. Then add the remaining ingredients, mixing well. Roll out to about a .25" thickness and cut into desired shapes. You can buy cute cookie cutters such as a bone, fire hydrant, dog house, or even a cat. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for about 20 minutes or until slightly brown. Don’t overcook! They can be stored in an airtight container.
