Lazy Daisy
The lazy daisy can be done in any size, depending on the area to be decorated. Either #5 or #8 thread will work. Find the center of the area where the daisy will be placed and bring the needle up in that center hole. Insert the needle down into the center hole again and out at the point of the daisy (9A). Pull the needle and thread through the loop and return the needle to the wrong side of the fabric through the same point hole. Come back out in the center hole (9B). Complete the remainder of the petals in the same manner (9C).
