Quick Caramel Frosting

Quick Caramel Frosting:

  • One-half cup butter
  • One cup brown sugar*
  • One-fourth cup milk
  • One and one-half cups powdered sugar

Melt butter, add brown sugar and cook 2 minutes stirring constantly. Add milk and stir until it comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Cool. Put in powdered sugar and stir until smooth and creamy. Pour over cake.

*Healthy Option: unrefined sugar (Sucanat or Rapadura)
