Stitcher’s Showcase: Sue Fitch

Sue Fitch writes, “My first fractal! This was challenging but very exciting to see the work come to life. I can’t wait to do more.

I purchased this pattern from Nordic Needle. The design is by Cross Stitch Collectibles, Fractal 222, stitched on white, 14 count Aida. There were 90 colors used. The 25 pages of instructions appear overwhelming, but one page at a time gets the job done. These pages were not bound so it was easy to mark up and cross off stitches as I progressed. I drew grids on the cloth and numbered the rows and columns with washable ink.”

  1. Oh my goodness! I admire your stick-to-it-iveness! I have patience to do larger cross stitch projects, but I guarantee you I would never be able to see something like this through. And it’s BEEEEAUTIFUL!!! Nice job!

  2. Beautiful! Can’t imagine how long it must have taken to stitch, sounds overwhelming. It sure turned out wonderful.
