Super Simple Ice Cream Cake

Ingredients:

Frozen Ice Cream Sandwiches in your favorite flavors, keep frozen
1-2 tubs of frozen whipped topping, thaw slightly so it is spreadable
Your Favorite Candy Bars like Heath, Snickers, Peanut Butter Cups
Your Favorite Topping Syrups like Chocolate, Caramel, Strawberry

Tammy made hers on a platter but you could also make it in an 8″ x 8″ or 11″ x 17″ pan. It depends on how many people you are serving and if you want the colorful inside of the cake show. Unwrap your candy and cut them into little chunks. They will be frozen, so you want to keep them small. Unwrap 1/3rd of the Ice Cream Sandwiches and lay then flat to form the bottom layer of your dessert. Spread a layer of cool whip on top. You may sprinkle on a few of your chopped candy bites. You can also drizzle a little of your syrup on if you want.

Repeat for the next two layers. If you made your cake on a platter, you will need to “frost” the sides of the cake with the whipped topping as well. Decorate with the remaining candy pieces and drizzle with the syrup(s).

Place the cake back into the freezer so that everything re-freezes. Remove the cake from the freezer about 15 minutes before serving so it is easier to cut.
