Bean Casserole


Bean Casserole

  • 1 large can Bush’s baked beans (or other brand of brown beans of your choice)
  • 1 can garbanzo beans
  • 1 can butter beans
  • 1 can black beans
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • one-third cup ketchup
  • 2 T mustard
  • 2 T molasses
  • 1 cup Fresh mushrooms sliced (optional)
  • 1 chopped medium size sweet onion
  • 8-12 slices thick bacon, fried and chopped
  • 1.5 to 2 pounds ground beef or ground turkey – brown with onion

Do not drain the beans but include the juices in the recipe. Combine all together in slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. Everything is cooked so it just needs to be heated through so all the flavors combine together and simmer.
