Sausage Potato Soup
In a skillet, brown the sausage, breaking it into small pieces as you fry it. Drain off the fat and set aside. In the same skillet, fry the bacon pieces; drain and set aside. Place water, broth, potatoes, garlic, and onion in a soup pot; simmer over medium heat until potatoes are tender. Add sausage and bacon to pot; simmer for 10 minutes. Add kale and half and half to pot; season with salt and pepper; heat through. |
