Adjoining Eyelets

Use size #8 thread. Bring the needle out of the fabric at point A. From A count down two threads and over two threads to find the center hole. Work 7 stitches, all going into the same center hole (see diagram 6A). To begin the eighth stitch, bring the needle up at point B, then down into the center hole and up at point C. Return to point B which is the center hole of the next eyelet. Notice that from this point there are three stitches on each side of the eyelet and one long stitch joining the eyelets. When desired length is reached, turn and complete other sides of the eyelets. Do not repeat the long joining stitch. (See 6B)
