Ruth’s Oatmeal Bars
Mix everything together and press lightly into an 11" x 13" pan. The firmer you press it into the pan the harder the bars will become. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 12 minutes or lightly browned. Do not over bake or the bars will be hard! In a saucepan or microwave, melt 2 cups chocolate chips and ½ cup peanut butter. Spread over your bars. Ruth said the recipe also works if you don’t have time to bake it! I am keeping this recipe on my refrigerator! |
