Party Stroganoff


  • 1 lb. round steak, cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 c. sliced onion
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 2 T. butter or margarine
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1 can Campbell’s Golden Mushroom soup

In skillet, brown meat and cook onion (in 2 T. butter or margarine) until tender. Stir in soup, sour cream and water. (Add 1/2 t. Worcestershire sauce and/or fresh sliced mushrooms if desired.) Cover and simmer for about an hour, stirring occasionally.

Serve over mashed potatoes or cooked noodles.
